the MckLinky is at the bottom of my project.
Many of you think you are following me because you followed my old blog-Google doesn;t let you take your followers with you-
If you have not RE-SIGNED up to follow me over here at the new site PLEASE do so. You are not receiving all my updates.
Also I am trying to make my post about one subject and so I will have several posts in a day–be sure to check them all out.
I have been busy all last week. I enjoyed time with my sweet sister and brother-in-law and loved on my sweet nieces. My kids miss their cousins so much they can hardly stand it.
We went to the beach on Friday, even as chilly as it was (I had a towel wrapped around me some of the time and still ended up with a little bit of a sun burn.) All 6 of the kids, my brother-in-law and Prince Charming were crazy enough to get in that COLD water. Then they left Saturday morning to drive back to KC and SNOW. There was already 4 inches and they ae expecting 12 inches. We are praying for safe driving conditions for them. They are on the road right now. (TEARS)
So I through myself into some projects to drawn my sorrow.
Remember my chess set that we made. Well I planned on revealing it weeks ago but with my blog move, IT was my project day after day. (My 13 year old took these pictures for me)
then I made a crate and painted it to look like old wood.
I am adding handles to the side and I am going to add Fragile or something to the sides. If you have any ideas I am all ears.
I hope you like it.
Be sure to link to me.
All 3 of my parties are up until Friday Night at 11 p.m. each week.

I hope your family has a safe trip home. Your 13 year old did a great job of taking pictures of your very cool chess set and crate! Great job!
Kat 🙂
How creative! Your family will have fun playing with their new set.
That chess set is very creative. I don’t play, but I have had one on display.
I love it!!!
So glad you had a good time with your company!
I hope you are well!
This is so creative! I love the pieces – such detail! Thanks for hosting again this week! Happy Spring! {p.s. I still haven’t heard anything – just wanted to keep you in the loop becasue I haven’t mentioned anything on the blog} =) Thanks!
What a cute idea for a chess set! I really like novel things and your set certainly qualifies there.
Thanks for hosting the event.

Absolutely Delightful! You did a wonderful job!
Chess- gosh that is such an intimidating game to play! Maybe it wouldn’t bee with your cute set!
Love the chess set. So creative and fun. I especially love the Queen.
Thank your for hostessing all these fabulous linky parties! They are great!
I love your set! The knights are my favorite!
We love chess around here too – your set will become a family treasure.
Hi Cheri! Long time, no talk! I know..I have been absent again. I took the whole weekend off from the computer to get the house ready for my little Avery’s Birthday Party we had yesterday. Hubs was out of town and I had to do everything, including all the sporting events that we usually split! I hope you are doing well. The chess set is really neat! Great work! I do not play, but the pieces are truly unique. Hope your family had a safe trip home. I am sure it was hard to go from beach to snow! Have a great day!
Absolutely fabulous chess set, Cheri! Way to deal with the heartache of saying goodbye to loved ones. I haven’t seen my sister and nephews since I moved away 3 1/2 years ago. They have never seen my daughter. I hope that will change soon. Have a lovely week!

Thanks for hosting! Come plant your creative seed at my new blog party on Fridays: “Plant a Punkin Seed at Punkin Seed Productions”.

Hi Cheri,
I finally made it over here to your new blog, it looks great and so does your chess set. I’ll have to link up my newest pillow.
Hey!!!
Thanks so much for the support–it means alot to me. Of course I’d come over and update your list. I so enjoy coming over for visits. I usually do it on my blackberry and more often than not I’m never able to comment! I’ve got to figure this out…anyway.
Missed chatting up with you and your linky!! I hope to rejoin you real soon.
Take Care
This is so cute, the knights crack me up!

I cannot get the button to work – so I have a link at the moment – will try again next week.
Thanks for letting me know –which button are you having problems with?
