Hi Cheri, I was blog hopping today and found your post on beach glass. I have heard of doing this before and always meant to try it but I have one question. I noticed that you said place the rock tumbler in the garage for a couple of days. Can I assume that means the tumblers are not insulated and are noisy? or did you just put it in the garage as a work space. I'd be interested in hearing your views on the rock tumbler. Thanks. Barbara@BabyBloggingBoomer

If you look on eBay you can find it as well. From what I've seen it doesn't last long on there, though. I ran into it by accident there, researching some old bottles we have to sell. I was amazed that there was actually a market for that! :) Ya just never know with eBay!!! Of course now that "the loop" has caught the oil spill all the pretty glass on our beaches, will be covered in OIL! Just wondering, is the ice cream maker safe for use after this process?? I would like to try it, if I can still make ice cream after the fact!
Happy Thursday!

That is so beautiful!! We're headed to Pensacola in a few weeks, but I don't really remember seeing this on the beach before when we lived there. Now I'm going to have to get up early one morning & go see if it's there! lol.

Oh, and I was thinking that would look really pretty in one of those glass blocks that were really popular at Christmas where people put lights in them. I've got one sitting on my craft table... so I'm definitely being inspired by this project. Thank you for sharing.

Blessings!
