Debra,
Getting the fan back up was tricky.  Your arms get tired holding it up.  My sweet hubby was attaching wires while I held it and once some of those wires are attached you can&#039;t let go.  (feel the burn)--it is definitely a 2 person job.  On that note.  I have never painted one while it was up.  I like the smooth finish of the spray paint.  If you used spray paint I would use a plastic tarp and tape everything off.  If you try brushing or rolling on the paint you wouldn&#039;t have to use the tarp but I don&#039;t know how smooth of a finish it will give.  I have only spray painted mine and after all this time they still look really nice.]]></description>
