Interestingly, we really do not know exactly when his birth is either. Most likely during the fall since it was harvest time and they would not being doing census during winter because of the difficulty of travel for everyone. December was later adopted because it coincided with another festival but I won’t go into detail there. It is nice though to read a post about this though – people are very quick to take offense even though it is what the bible says, not mans traditions, that we should be reading and studying.
