We closed on the house the end of May and moved in the beginning of June. The first project was the kitchen. You can check more of it out HERE .

We were in the midst of summer and projects and swim meets every weekend.  SUMMER-In Missouri, that typically means high temps and high humidity.  I tried working on the drawers and cabinets.  I actually got all 20 of the drawers done and I got 4 of the cabinet doors done but I had to stop because the heat was causing the Lacquer Thinner to evaporate.

Last week we had temps in the hundreds with the heat index around 110.  Today we have a high around 72 so I decided today was a great day to work on some more cabinet doors.  I got 9 more cabinet doors stripped and sanded– next up is painting those.  Then I have 17 more to get stripped, sanded a painted and new hardware installed.

Summer is almost over and we will be doing home schooling, back into our year round SWIM schedule for the boys, as well as more house projects, and running our health coaching business, so I am trying to get some projects knocked out…
