I was scarred and praying like the flood was coming. As I began, my oldest said “you mean you could be ruining a perfectly good computer”–he honestly thought THAT was a PERFECTLY good computer. Yes I was afraid it would not work at all. I keep touching metal so I wouldn’t static shock the computer and kill it. Normally I would have been terrified to try something like that.
