It’s also kid friendly, they can make it on their own giving them their independence. (I helped with the melted butter)
I used canned pie filling fruit, but fresh or frozen fruit would be great too, I also added finely chopped walnuts.
I served it right out of the oven over vanilla ice-cream, if you like that type of thing lol.
