I love to decorate and create things. Have I mentioned that before?-that I LOVE TO DECORATE. I was chatting on line with my niece this morning and was wondering what your thoughts are on this idea: If I create something and make a couple of extra of something, do you think it would be a good idea to post it on the site and make the extras available for my readers to purchase or I could even show the one I make and then take special orders. I was thinking about unique one of a kind adorable aprons, very chic gift tags, there are so many ideas going through my head right now…these would be things you could never go in a store and buy unless it was a specialty type store that carried one of a kind items, but these would be OH SO CUTE, so cute that everyone will be asking where you got them. Some things might be one of a kind that I find, fix up and make OH SO WONDERFUL. I saw this little lamp at Goodwill-there is no other way to say it, other than it is ugly-FOR SURE-but I saw so much potential in it. I see it being re-done into this absolutely adorable little piece for a little girl’s shabby chic bedroom or a very shabby Paris bathroom in a soft robin egg blue and black theme. I could throw my hands in the air and hit a high F right now just thinking about the beads dangling from it and making it into a special piece once again. I would then add a little square lamp shade, 2 sides with a printed material and the front and back in a solid with an initial monogram. I can’t decide if I should go back and get it and re-do it and post it for sale on the blog or save it for Miss G4’s bathroom, whenever we get moved that is-that would be after the OH SO FABULOUS job comes through. Do you see my dilemma? My brain won’t stop thinking and going over so many OH SO FABULOUS ideas.
