The Knock Off Knock Out Button

here’s a quick update to this post.

I am starting a new Mr. Linky party that will be every Monday.

You can feature something you have made or bought that looks like an expensive item. Maybe you saw a expensive painting and you recreate it to look similar, or you find a room, in your favorite magazine, that is decorated beautifully, but is outrageous in price and you recreate a knock-off that is a knock out, or maybe you buy a piece of furniture that looks very close to something 3 xs the price and with your personal little touches you make it into a knock off knock out, or you could be out to eat and create a recipe that is a knock off and it is a knock out in your hubby’s professional opinion (and their opinions are what really count), or you visit the White House and do a Christmas Tree knock off, on a smaller scale, and it is –yes, let’s all say it together– A Knock Out. Maybe you have a special event to attend and need an outfit and you create A KNOCK OFF KNOCK OUT that has the same look as a fashion you saw on your favorite star at the Oscars. It can really be about anything. Preferably it would be best to show a picture of the item you knocked off and then a picture of your knock out piece and an explanation of how you did it. This one would very easily mix with Metamorphasis Monday and Today’s Thrifty Treasures. This will be featured every Monday, so if you have a project you are working on over the weekend you can post it here. Which button do you think THE KNOCK OFF KNOCK OUT button should be???
The poll is directly above the Followers on the right hand panel–Vote for your choice of button and start working on your project for Knock Off Knock Out Monday. We will start this Mr. Linky party AUG 10th (that gives you a week and a half to decide what your first post will be.) Be sure to come back and grab the new button and post it and tell everyone about the new, fun Mr. Linky event. The New Button will be up and ready Sat. Morning.

Thanks for stopping by! I was just visiting yours and then saw you on mine! Your "KOKO" idea sounds great!!! So many of the DIY and Metamorphosis could go for both… I have trouble with the McLinky but will give it a go!

I actually thought about a graphic but was having such a hard time deciding on something because of this encompassing so many area so I thought-go simple but I am not opposed to something–what would you suggest since I have so many things. I had kind of thought about a diamond ring with a big solitaire diamond. Give me your thoughts.
