Decorating Ideas
I made cookies yesterday and cranberry orange muffins this morning for breakfast. So we are off to a busy morning.
Ashley made one of the Rosette t-shirts GO HERE to check it out.
Do you set goals for yourself, I do-all the time and sometimes it is on things I have no control over. I don’t go nuts if I don’t reach it but I am very goal oriented. I woke up this morning and was wondering how long it will take me to get to 200 followers, I am really close to 200. Let’s see how fast-Today is Aug 26th. Can I hit 200 before the end of the month? Weekends are quiet so that means I would have to add about 8 new follows a day? If I do we will have a gift give-a-way for all the followers-every single follower will have their name in the pot. I haven’t decided what it will be yet. I just came up with this ideas-so post about it and send people over to sign up and not only will they go in to the drawing but if you are a follower so will you.
The polls on the side bar are fun-thanks for participating and keep it going, it is fun to see the answers shift from one thing to another. My kids love seeing which answers is in the lead. My – now 4 yr old – named the fly swatter something when he was just 2-all on his own he came up with a name for it and has called it by the same name ever since. Can you guess the “REAL” name for the fly swatter?

So is Fall on your mind? I’ve been thinking about how to decorate for fall. I love it when the weather gets a little crisp and the leaves start changing into those beautiful fall colors. Our family enjoys going to Branson, MO. Silver Dollar City is decorated up for fall and as you drive down the colors are so amazing. I love going for family walks and hearing the crunch of the leaves under your feet and when you get home your nose is a little cold from the chill in the air. I love the smell of everyone starting their fireplaces. Our kids loved making S’mores. I love all the beautiful fall colors. ONE problems-we are in Florida this year and having hot humid days just doesn’t bring the same nostalgic feelings. Having a palm frond fall out of a tree and knock you unconscious just doesn’t do it either. I will miss the leaves changing colors, wearing cute fall sweaters and the smell of Autumn in the air this year but it won’t keep me from decorating for the season.

Have you ever put out a bowl of candy corn and peanuts-Mmmmmmmm-it tastes like a Payday candy bar.
Chesapeake Home Ideas
I remember one Halloween Evening where we put a pumpkin out-it’s mouth was a big oval “o” shape and round eyes and then we shoved spaghetti noodles into the top of the pumpkin and it looked like someone had scared the pumpkin and it’s hair was standing straight up (you have to do this the night of Halloween or the spaghetti gets limp and doesn’t stay up).

I’ve been thinking through several different ideas and as long as I am up for it I want to go check a few things out so I can get ready for fall. I have trees to decorate as well. Yes, I left my Christmas trees out-just 3 of the smaller ones- and they are on the front lanai and I am decorating them for each season it’s been fun.
So what are your Fall projects going to look like?

I hope you enjoyed the fall decorating tour. I will be posting some of my fall decor soon and don’t forget to send your friends over to sign up to becoe a follower –my give-a-ways are always fun.

Love all of those ideas! I nearly gasped when I saw the goblets turned over, pumpkins in them, and candles on top! Neat!
Hi Cheri,
Fall is my favorite time of the year and I loved seeing all the pumpkin pics you posted! This is my first year with a pumpkin patch and I check on each little pumpkin every day to see its growth. I'm so excited about all the decorating possibilities using pumpkins this fall! Thanks!
Cindy
PS-I now have a blog button, I did not originally have one when you asked.
Oooooh, this makes me very excited for Fall decorating! I also have two "Christmas" trees that I keep up year round. Being that I do daycare, I have the kids make little decorations for each holiday to hang on the tree. They think it's fun:) Thanks for inspiring me!!
Blessings,
Cara
I love fall !! It sounded like me in the first part of your post :))
Hi Cheri! Oh, I love all these great fall photos! I'm wanting to start decorating for fall, but we're about to leave again. Shoot!
Cheri, about following my blog: I know I have two blogs, but one is just for my awards and the blogs I follow. I did disable the follower on that blog. But my main blog "Note Songs" – there is a little box that says "Follow" and you should just be able to click on it and your picture will appear with the rest. Sorry for the problems.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia 😉
Absolutely gorgeous 🙂

i have so many of those halloween issues tucked in a special place and get them out every fall for inspiration!
