Let me say sorry for any typos, I am doing this kind of blind–Google isn’t showing any links right now. I can’t see my post title. Each time I try to copy and post a picture is really a unique experience. If I am in COMPOSE, I can see some things but EDIT HTML shows nothing but a few things–AHHHHHH-Google is trying to drive me insane.Do you know how much I hate it when I miss a typo.
I will do a tutorial of instructions on how I did these Tuesday when I post my favorites because I bet you all want to know how to do them don’tcha. You know you want them too. I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the way they came out.
Last week Tootsie posted the picture above. I immediately fell in LOVE with those eggplant pumpkins. I just loved the color. I don’t think I have ever seen an eggplant colored pumpkin. They are just beautiful.
I really LOVE the unique pumpkins and gourds.
I love them so much that last year when we moved from Kansas City to SW, Florida, I bought 4 unusual, unique pumpkins and traveled with them across 1/2 of the US, because Florida doesn’t get that many of them.
I love decorating with the wine, burnt orange and gold colored mums. I just love that combination together.
Here are few other photos, now only one photo due to Google going nutso, for your enjoyment:
So, I decided to get busy an recreate the look. The first 4 pumpkins started out as basic orange pumpkins but now I have a plum/eggplant, a sage, a creamy white, and a dark green. (The coloring of the white one looks more green in this picture than it really is.) I am going to take more pictures in a few minutes, with them out on the lanai, but I wanted to get this post up for you creative geniuses to post your stuff. I still need to add wire and the hand painted leaves.
I also have a gourd that I repainted and a carved pumpkin. I don’t know what the Chinese workers manufacturers were thinking on the coloring of the carved pumpkin. It was an apricot color, so it is now Orange.

As promised, that is as long as Google doesn’t play with my mind some more, Pictures:
I forgot to take pictures of these miniature pumpkins that I did, as well.
I need your help with my BIG ANNOUNCEMENT, plus you need to know the details so you can get your name on the list.
I will be posting to:

Wednesday will be the “Celebrate the Holidays” party. If you have any decorations up for the season-Labor Day, Sept 11 or getting ready for fall come on over and show case them. We also love those special recipes that are presented for the party.
Tomorrow is the final day to enter for the give-a-way Laura’s Story
Healing walks quietly and softly. It doesn’t cry out like pain nor does it bellow out like laughter. It holds us so tenderly that we don’t even feel its arms. And when its job is done-it doesn’t clap or shout-it just allows us to find our way. Unknown
Remember, if you sign up as a follower I will do the same. If I have not been there within 24 hours it is because I can not find you, due to the way your account is set up, some of you have your e-mail blocked as well. I feel so bad when I can not get to you, please e-mail me and I will come over for a visit. I love coming for visits and reading your comments, that’s how I get to know you so well. I am a VERY social person and love to be around people and get to know them.
What is the Knock Off Knock Out party?
You see something you like, it can be at a friends house, a magazine or your favorite store but it is over priced and so you Knock it off and make it look so amazing it is a Knock Out. It doesn’t have to be exact. You may be inspired by something but the colors are wrong so you change it and do a knock off that fits your style and color and it is a Knock Out. Maybe you have something at a restaurant and re=create it and it is amazing you just had a Knock Off Knock Out moment, share those with us. If you have a picture of the original great, if not just share about it.
ANYONE is welcome to join the party.
How do you join?
**You need to create a post about your item. (I suggest opening 2 browser windows so you can go back and forth-it just goes faster.) In your post you need to add my KNOCK OFF KNOCK OUT button (copy the code in the scroll box under the box and copy it into your post) or add the link to my post so people can find the party.
**You need to add the permalink (NOT your blog address). If you click on your post title, copy that code that appears in the address bar and then post it to MckLinky.
If you come back and your post is not here, it is because you forgot to do one of the above things, just fix it and re-post. I have been trying to come by and let people know if they forgot something but with our home school year underway, I can not guarantee that I can do that this week. We enjoy every new post and I appreciate everyone who has posted the party buttons on their side bar. You guys really do inspire me.
I can not wait to see all the wonderful projects.

Thanks hosting the party! 🙂
Ooooh you make me want to go to a pumpkin patch!
Cheri,
Those pumpkins were just beautiful. I can't wait until you show how you did them. I would like to try some. I have had problems since Friday with something or someone.
I was unable to post comments on several of the post from the cloche party, what ever it was would shut down my whole system down. Everything seems to be working great now

Hi Cheri!
Your pumpkins look fantastic. I'm starting to put out my fall decor. Last year I was tired of a lot of my pieces so I got rid of them. Now I'm on the hunt for more fall decor and I'm hoping to find new pieces so I can decorate more than one room. 🙂
I will have the post up for my Giveaway tomorrow.
Toni
I have never thought of colored pumpkins before. They are just too cute.
