oh so very cheri is going oh so very crazy– Swine FLU — Favorites from the Knock Off Party and The Celebrate the Holidays party

by CHERI on October 20, 2009

Enjoy these BHG painted pumpkin ideas:

Miss Its So Very Cheri is going oh so very stir crazy!!!  4 sick kids, staying at my brother-in-laws rental
(oh so very appreciative of his gracious offer–no hotel bill on a husband in school budget–but no toys for the kids, no hotel pool to entertain them, NO  INTERNET–ughh that is the worst) can’t work on any craft projects–AS BAD AS NO INTERNET-make oh so very Cheri oh so very nuts.

The kids will seem fine, running around-no temps, so we venture out, only to have them running high temps again in the evenings. they are hardly eating anything and sleeping lots.  Yesterday, my in-laws wanted to meet us at our favorite BBQ place–JACK STACK and Miss G4 (2 yrs old) had an accident-the flu type of accident if you get my drift.  Of course she had on cute tights and a cute little dress–in to the bathroom we go only to find it all the way up her back–lovely! I cleaned her all up and walked back out to our table with a child in ONLY a diaper.  What was I to do?  I couldn’t put the outfit back on.  I put her jacket on her and we headed to my sisters house.  In route she began throwing up for about 10 blocks.  We called the airlines and verified our thoughts– NO we can not fly till all the kids are better.  So here we are in Missouri, still.  I feel stressed because Prince Charming works hourly, while in school.  He is putting in resumes here and networking but so far nothing–

DOES ANY ONE want to hire MR. Its So Very Cheri ( Sales Management background, Computer Programmer Certifications and soon to have the newest PMP certification)??? Anyone!!!  Can you tell I am going bonkers???  I am just ask Prince Charming.

I have so many craft projects I want to share with you,  I went to one of my favorite decorating shops, just down the street from where we are staying and took tons of pictures.  They wanted to know all about my blog and all of you gals.  I am going to post all about them when I get back but I can’t download all my pictures till we get back, because we left the laptop with the camera info in Fl.—another UGHHH.  I hope my kids are well enough so I can go to another favorite shop-It’s called MY FAVORITE THINGS–so so many amazing ideas.  I hope they will let me take lots of pictures too.

As always I really like all of the projects that came in to the Knock Off Party.  Here are 4 of my favorites:
be sure to grab the I’ve been featured button

Thanks Jenn for the BEST tutorial on making caramel apples–Don’t you just want to bite into them?

Dragonflysandstars dreamed these up in her sleep–yep a gal after my own heart.

FABOULOUS Ballard side table knock off–and you’ll die when you read how much she paid for this baby.

Mama thompson made some amazing, adorable jewelry–hey I have a birthday coming up–hee hee.

So lets get to the Celebrate the Holidays party–

What is the Celebrate the Holidays party?

Anything that has to do with Celebrating the Holidays –a favorite recipe or a project, something you saw in a magazine or shop that you would like to make.  Come on and help us all celebrate.

ANYONE is welcome to join the party.
How do you join?

**You need to create a post about your item. (I suggest opening 2 browser windows so you can go back and forth-it just goes faster.) In your post you need to add my Celebrate the Holidays button (copy the code in the scroll box under the box and copy it into your post) or add the link to my post so people can find the party.

**You need to add the permalink (NOT your blog address). If you click on your post title, copy that code that appears in the address bar and then post it to MckLinky.
Remember, if you sign up as a follower I will do the same.

I will be posting to:

Oh you poor dear. I can only imagine how stir crazy you are. It's so wierd but when we would go stay in my father in laws condo for just a weekend at the beach of all places, I would get stir crazy to craft and tons of ideas would roll through my head (which rarely happens at home).

I do hope the kids are better soon and that you stay healthy mom.
Take care of yourself too, Tracy 🙂

So sorry the kids are so sick, It is bad enough when they are at home and sick, much less be away. At least you are near family and friends and not some place where you don't know anyone. I wish I knew of someone who was hiring or own a business so I could help Mr. G. Praying the G Force will be better and you will be able to get home soon.

Oh, Cheri, I hope the kiddos get better soon. When it rains, it pours. We've had a lot going on here, too. I keep praying to feel at peace throughout it all. I will pray for the same for you. I hope and pray things get better for you soon.
