Then the crafting began.
I have been working on all kinds of projects this weekend and started getting a little decorating done.
While we were in Missouri, I stopped in at this one store. It is a huge freight recovery store-if you see something you want you better get it, because it may not be there the next day.
I saw a package of these clear numbered rubber stamps for $2.50. They normally run about $12.00 :

I just LOVE numbered and lettered things.
I pulled them out and made some numbered coasters.
Then I made THE LETTERED COASTERS
It is pretty cool.
I used it for
I scuffed it up because I wanted it to look aged.

I scuffed up the plate as well..
I will show the completion of these this week.
Then I made these glass vases.
I’ve seen them all over the place
–I got everything from The Dollar Store and glued together the vase piece and the candle obra with my Gorilla Glue. They are already being used for decorations and I will show you the rest of this project on Wed for the Celebrate the Holidays party.

for our
–I can not wait to show it to you–.

Thanks again!
You've sure been a creative little busy bee Cheri! I am just now realizing you live in Naples. My folks own a condo there and we've been down several times. Such a beautiful place! They'll be wintering there again, so maybe I'll get myself down there and we can have coffee 🙂
Hi Cheri. Thanks for stopping by my blog and adding yourself as a follower. I've been sneaking on your blog for quite awhile now, so now I'm going to add myself as a follower. Oh, goodness-LOVE the plates. Rosie
Hi, Cheri: I love lettered and numbered things too. These coasters are great gifts.
I have a question about the tool you used to seal off your ribbon from fraying in the craft tutorial. Is that just a wood burning tool? After your tutorial I am now becoming a tassel queen and sealing off ribbon with a tiny strip of Elmer's takes way too long!
You can reply in my comments or e_bogardus AT hotmail
Thanks, and have a great Thanksgiving!
Super cute stamped coasters!
