CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS party is here–for some reason it does not like the button and does not like my ITS SO VERY CHRISTMASY button (in the left side bar with the other Christmas parties), so I have deleted them in an effort to get my post to go to the reader.
When I saw these…I thought of these… with Cranberry beaded burlap
No not the buttons…A few weeks ago, I was at Jo Anns-(you can feel really bad for me because we don’t have Hobby Lobby here) and I saw these.
No I didn’t see an ornament. Do you see what I see? (isn’t that a Christmas Song?)
I saw these.
I grabbed 3, cut the tops off and sanded them.
Then I painted them silver.
Then I painted the centers white.
Then I used my number stencils.
Then I grabbed some 16 gauge wire and made each number a metal ring. Finally I sanded then so they would be a little shabby and used my distressed ink pad to darken them up a little.
Aren’t they so cute?

I had that project done a couple of weeks ago but I needed to finish it so I could display those numbers-the address.
I cut a strip of burlap and hot glued on some cranberry beads for the hanger.
I took another piece of burlap and used some more beads to make a welcome banner.I cut a leaf pattern and then used a flat cranberry and celery green paper, I used some heavy red on red wrapping paper that was shiny, I used some off white and cream paper and then some pages out of a book. I cut out a bunch of leaves. (My frame was cut from a Children’s Place box.)I hot glued on my burlap hanger, then started gluing in my leaves, added the burlap welcome banner.
With the red beads I hung the numbers from the bottom and hung it by the front door.
I just think they are so cute.

Do you remember this plate?
Well I had done 2 of them and I got another plate and this is what also worked on today

I’ll reveal how it all turned out tomorrow.
Anyone can join the party.
