The Crowned Jewel

by CHERI on December 13, 2009

I painted Miss G4 some pretty pink and pearl ornaments for her tree.
I’ve been busy not only did I get pink ornaments done but

To help out while my hubby is in school and no cases to work on Yeah-it pretty much stinks that for @ the last 3 weeks he has had no work-found out the day before Thanksgiving-and it was immediate-that was his last day until they have another project for him to work on–ugh)   I had been working on an e-book that turned into 4 e-books.  I am selling them for the bargain price of $4 each, because I know everyone is strapped and if I am going to be frugal I will offer them at a frugal price.

Click on the button to learn about each of the 4 books.
Book 1 is 7 recipes for the holidays
If you have never had a Hungarian Butterhorn, you are missing out.
Book 2, 3 and 4 each have 3 recipes and e craft tutorial projects.
Thanks for your support ladies during this season in our lives.

So not only did I get the pink ornaments done and the e-books but

I got the Crowned Jewel completed and on Miss G4s tree

and I think it is darling.
I wrapped it in paper from a book and sprinkled it in fairly dust glitter (which isn’t showing up in this photo).

I also took a video of the train under the tree. It is our old antique Lionel train. We started collecting it when our 2 oldest boys were very little.

The train is running and the STAR is on the tree.  All 4 have to take a turn each year.

By time Miss G4 got to the top of the ladder and realized Daddy had to hold her out over the tree to be able to reach the top of the tree she no longer was interested in participating. We finally convinced her Daddy would not drop her.

OK ladies–Google is all messed up again and not just for me but it is hit and miss and basically-they don’t have the answer to solve the problem. For most of you, your reader shows my most current post as being more than 2 weeks old and I have done post almost every day. There are some of you that I am subscribed to that do not even show up in my Reader, while others show post that are from weeks ago, just like mine and others are current. Just thought you would like to know. I know it stinks.

I AM HERE

BE SURE AND KEEP CHECKING IN WITH ME –while I keep working on this issue.

I will post a few pictures from my favs and these just give a variety of things posted this week. There are many more that made my FAV LIST If you missed out be sure to go back and check out all the posts from each of my 3 parties.
Great Job Ladies.

Very pretty ornaments! I just love the train, too. Great video.

I wish you the best. We are in our fourth year of experiencing the effects of the recession with a college student. There is no way I'd be living north of the Mason Dixon line in normal times.

I love that each of your children get to put the Christmas star on the tree. Cute kids.
Great Christmas decorations too. The crown is way cool and I love the train.
