and her lamp does not go out at night.

Jogger

In order to be able to accomplish all she does she has an organized system, in place, that works for her family.  I imagine she takes care of herself, makingsure  she is strong so her body can fight off disease and infections, fitting in time to “exercise”, consuming the right amount of liquids-maybe not water.  Their water system was pretty filthy back then.

Exercise 06

Each task she takes on–she does vigorously.

She also keeps her mind alert and is up on all the NEWS, not the gossip columns.  She is aware of what is going on in the business world so she can make wise decisions.  She has stocks and bonds and knows about trading.  She has her own business and is searching for the best deals.

I remember one year, I was selling my home school teachers guides on a homeschool classification website.  One Mom contacted me about some books I had listed and she made the comment that she had stayed up into the middle of the night to bid on some books so she could get the best deal for her family.  She then commented on “what, we Moms will do for our family”

Isn’t that true?  It is always amazing to me how God designed our bodies to work.  We loose sleep because of a sick child and we are up all night.  The next day we are exhausted but our bodies don’t require us to catch up on all the sleep we lost, our bodies regenerate with normal rest amounts.  A Mom of a new born would be sleeping for a long time if we required to catch up on all the sleep we had lost.

Mom’s put themselves last, taking care of the family and what all needs to be done.  We stay up late and focus on the details.

It is amazing the strength and yet soft tenderness God has instilled into women.

various color sewing threads on white canvas 2

Her hands are spinning thread.  She doesn’t run to Joanne’s or Hobby Lobby to pick up her craft supplies.  She is spinning that thread herself.

spindle

and grasps the spindle with her fingers.

knit

She is twisting that thread, creating works of art for her family.

Yarn and needles

Don’t you see her as a seamstress to the stars, crochet expertise, knitting queen.  She would have owned a Cricut if they had been around.

Gold Material

She would make different types of material, in a variety of colors and styles for her family.

Don’t you wonder how she has the time (remember she stays up late at night) and the energy–oh yeah she works out so she can have the energy–FOR THIS

Heart Shaped World

As soon as my re-chargable batteries arrive, I am back into my work out sessions!!!

I have been asked to write on a blog, as a monthly, on going, contributor, sharing our journey of  infertility, loosing 2 babies and breast feeding issues.  Pray for the hearts of these women as I share.  We know what it is like to have empty arms and broken hearts.  We know that God is the one who controls opening the womb and providing the perfect child for each family.  We know some people do not carry a child in their womb but God opens their hearts to another child that someone else carried and He weaves those lives together to create a family.  We have been blessed to have 4 children, that the author and creator of all life has granted us the privledge and responsibility of raising to be the leaders of this world.
