Sorry this is late–I’m dealing with a migraine today
Prov 31:25
She is clothed with strength and dignity;
She can laugh at the days to come.
She doesn’t worry about the stock market. she has planned well and she doesn’t fear how she will live in her retirement years. When I think of a spider web and the strength of it and yet how delicate it is, it reminds me of a woman. Sometimes we don’t realize the strength that we have until a crisis comes.
She can hold her head high in dignity because she does not have to worry and fret. We lived in New Jersey at one time and we would go over to New York City. I remember walking around one day before Thanksgiving. There were lots of extra people there because of the Macy’s Day parade the next day plus you had all the people who would be preforming in the parade. As we were walking I heard a homeless man yelling a someone. The man was yelling at someone for staring at him. His dignity was not all gone. You know some of them never dreamed that their life would end up as it did and how tough it must be to be in those circumstances. To loose your dignity, would change everything about you. It would skew how you perceived people and how you approached situations. It would hold you back from being all you could be.
She can laugh at the days to come.
She can REJOICE. She is set. She can relax and enjoy that later lays of her life.
My husband worked with a man down here that had lost his father as a kid, while his parents were on a cruise together. After high school he took over a business from an uncle and made an “OK” company FLOURISH. I put FLOURISH in capital letters because he is a multi-millionaire many times over. Paying for things–large items in cash is never an issue. He will not live much longer, he has enjoyed his life and knows that his entire family is set for life and he knows that he helped many of his employees become millionaires as well.
That is how I imagine she felt.
When I think of strength and beauty, I think of flowers. There are so many, and such a variety of size, color and shape. God could have given us 1 kind but he has given us so much more.
I am showering all of you in pretty flowers. I hope I have found at least one that you like.

I love the simplicity and truth that is God’s Word when we just read it and think about it! He is always speaking to us, isn’t He?
I need to listen more! Thanks for the Truth,
Stacey
