There were a few things that didn’t get moved with my new host site and I could not add pictures to my post. It is all fixed now so I can finally show my project from Monday-Its So Very Creative.

I made a cool nautical sphere–

I started with a styrofoam ball and covered it in hemp rope.

then added a think jute rope-creating a cool top on the sphere.

I cut a lot of hemp and made a double braid–using 6 strand instead of 3, then braided 3 of those together.

I mixed some jute and hemp around the ball.

I picked up the candle stand at a thrift store and placed the sphere on top of it–LOVING IT!!

SPOTLIGHT YOURSELF–gives everyone the opportunity to spotlight your blog–even if you don’t have a blog that does craft projects. If you have a devotional blog, or write funny stories–do crafts or bake luscious treats–show off and SPOTLIGHT YOURSELF.

Don’t forget about the DIY Club event FRIDAY–it is getting so close and we are all so excited. It is so exciting visiting new blogs and seeing the DIY Club button already on their blog–the word is getting around.
