Stencil-Plate Tutorial

Follow Me on Pinterest Here is how I did my plate.

I had picked up this plate at a thrift store.

I love the color and it isn’t perfectly shaped

and has black coming through in places.

I measured horizontally and vertically to get a center point.

I measured my DecoArt Royal Tile stencil for the center point as well.

I applied the DecoArt Textures CRACKLE product with my finger.

It was like a mud spa treatment for my hands.

Once dry I added a second layer.

I think this product is awesome. LOVE THAT CRACKLE.

I dabbed a little

DecoArt-Americana Whitewash craft paint to accent the crackle.

Then went over it with DecoArt-Americana Lamp (Ebony) Black craft paint.

I then added my DISChanger to the back-double checking to make sure it would hang the way I wanted.

I used the 3″ for this one.

These are so awesome.  I love DISChangers. Wait till you see my next project with them.
