Proverybs 6:6-11
like a bird from the snare of the fowler.

6 Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!

7 It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,

8 yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

9 How long will you lie there, you sluggard?
When will you get up from your sleep?

10 A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest-

11 and poverty will come on you like a bandit
and scarcity like an armed man. [a]

We have been working so hard to get the new DIY Club inc make-over up and going. Little slumber fits us perfectly, so much so that yesterday, I could not keep my eyes open making a grocery list. My body was shutting down and I had to take a nap for an hour so I could get back up and finction. I can not tell you how long it has been since I took a nap like that. I wonder if Ants nap. I know they are not working through the cold months. What about here in Florida where it isn’t freezing cold in the winter. Do they continue working and storing up food?

You know that Pixar Movie, A BUGS LIFE?

Where the grasshoppers come to try and steal all of the ants food?
It is because the grasshopper is lazy and doesn’t work all winter and then they just steal from the hard working ants.

That made me think about something. We don’t see grasshoppers down here in Florida. Maybe it is too hot for the Grasshoppers or maybe they are too lazy and have never made the trip down. So do the ants here in Florida work and store up treasures for the future or do Florida ants get lazy and count on being able to get food when they need it?

Lazy is one thing I don’t ever want associated with my name.

Now that we have that project done, we have a few more things that we have to do to get ready for the BIG Country Living Magazine FAIR and then life can settle down a little.
