Sorry this is late. Life is CRAZY right now. My Mother is still in the hospital. They were thinking the pain was from a bulging disc in her back. They were treating the pain so it was managable. Tuesday night she just tried pain pills to make sure she could handle the pain levels, once she came home. We (my sister and I) were talking to Drs back in Kansas City and working on plans to fly her back for surgery, at our parents request. Wed. morning she got up and began making plans to come home. She took a shower, and while in the shower something popped in her back and they have not been able to control the pain levels. She is now beyond being able to travel to have surgery. My husband knows the CEO of the hospital. He called and talked to his wife and has a referral that they will try to reach this morning.
