Aren’t these stencils and frames cute from DecoArt . I also got some of their Stencils Paints.
I picked out the paisley stencil and the polka dot stencil.
I painted the frame white and let that dry then I went over it with my DecoArt Weathered Wood.
Then I painted my dots.
I ruffed it up in a few spots with the best little sanding tool– my Rockler Sanding Bug
It is a great $10 investment.
Sanding Bug

I painted the cardboard piece that came in the frame with my DecoArt black paint and on the other piece I used my Gorilla Glue (the best glue EVAH!!) and some craft paper for the inside of the frame.
Then I added bows with my Gorilla Glueto make it look like a CANDY CORN.
On the other frame I added paper to the cardboard piece and glued it with Gorilla Glue. I just printed off the words Trick or Treat and glued them down and added some bling.
I added a DISChanger on the back of each frame.
Seriously this is one of my very favorite little tools. They are fabulous.
Do you remember my board from A PROJECT FOR ANY SEASON? I hung my frames with my black “washed” clothes pins.
Here it is a little further back so you can see the whole thing. I just love the versatility of that board.
I have it on the front lanai with all of my trees.
Stay Tuned –I will show you my candied apple and caramel apple trees.
