Last week was Miss Goo’s 4th birthday and she wanted pizza. I have made the dough from scratch, used package mixes and bought the dough from the bakery section of my grocery store. All are good.
I grabbed 4 bags of dough from the bakery section of our grocery store, sauce, cheese and the toppings for all of our pizzas.
Pizza 1- Was Cheese
Pizza 2- was Pepperoni and Cheese
Pizza- 3 was Vegetarian
Pizza 4- was Polynesian (in my top 5 of FAVS)
This is the first time I did the Polynesian and it was so delicious I had to share it with you. I created it out of my head.
I wanted to use canadian bacon but my store does not carry it any longer so I went with a honey ham
a buttery garlic and parmesan cheese base ( no red sauce)
honey ham (thicker slices)
Fresh Pineapple
Fresh Mango
Jalapeno (finely chopped)
Fresh Cilantro
Sweet Peppers (red, orange and yellow)
Sweet Onion
Fresh Spinach
Portabella Mushrooms
Paremsan Cheese
Mozzarella Cheese
Directions:
I made a salsa of mango, pineapple, jalapeno, and cilantro and let it sit for a few hours.
Once the dough had been tassed in the air (by Prince Charming). The kids love that. Drain the juice off of the fruit salsa. Now bake the dough for about 5 minutes. Chop all of your veggies and ham. Layer everything on to the pizza dough. Top with cheese and sprinkle with Parmesan.
This was a HUGE hit! Everyone Loved it.
I will have to share one of our other favorite creations another time.

Did you put the garlic and parmesan cheese base on before or after you baked it?
that looks and sounds delicious!!! i don’t eat ham so iw ould have to take that out, but it sounds divine even without it!!! and it looks fabulous. i love my cheese to be golden like that!
