My Cricut Mat Was Not Sticky Anymore – Krylon to the Rescue

Check out how I solved my problem without having to dish out money for a new cutting mat.  Rather than spending $10 or more on a new one  for pennies I was able to fix my old mat and I can do it over and over and over again withoug spending anymore money.

thanks for this post.
I am anxious to hear your report on how well this worked. I’ve read a couple different posts about re-sticking the mats but have not attempted so far. It seems the stick from factory (at least on my mats) didn’t last long at all. I hope this works well, so much less $$ than a new mat for sure.

Great idea, thank you for sharing. I purchased the two pack from Walmart, a lot cheaper than Michael’s, but they are so sticky they ruined the paper the first couple of times.

Thanks for the tip! I hate buying new mats!
