What is it reveal

by CHERI on March 10, 2011

I learned something new while we were at Busch Gardens.  The “white” tigers are not albino.  An albino animal has either red or pink eyes and they are all white, no color at all and they are sensitive to light.  The white tigers have black stripes and bright blue eyes so they are BLONDE TIGERS.

Even the fake ones that they sell in the stores have the blue eyes.

Not only is it educational but they have fun rides too.

The little ones were mapping out the day for us.

Lots of beautiful flower gardens as well-the name of the park is Busch GARDENS after all.

G1, G2 and the hubs love the Sheikra.  It stops at the top of the ride and pauses before

it drops you.

After some twists and turns it comes to the top of another hill and stops before dropping you again.

More loops before you hit the WATER

I took this picture as the water was being flung over the top of us and quickly hid my i-phone so it would not get damaged.

Now this ride is a death defying DEAD E ND coaster ride–the coaster drops out of the sky and lands on another track below

I’m kidding–this is the Cheetah Chase a new ride that will be ready very soon–Spring 2011

It is so long.  It covers an enormous part of the park.  You can only imagine how disappointed the kids were that it wasn’t done.

They heard so much about it last year.

Before we headed out of town—

We went to Mixon’s Orange Grove (Bradenton, Fl) and they have an animal rescue reserve there. We went on a tour of the orange grove and animals.  We saw a blonde racoon.  They are very rare because they rarely live past a year old because they do not have the coloring to camoflauge themselves. They had a pig, boah and python, a deer (did you know Florida deers are a lot smaller here in Florida–they don’t get big because they don’t need to bulk up for the long cold winters).

It was a fun and relaxing time and just in case you don’t believe me

These Florida speed limit signs crack me up.  You need to go 12 mph not 11 and not 13–12! What happened to even round numbers??

Hey girl, you guys look like you had a blast. I’ve never been there before, but it looks incredible, I’m sure the kids would have so much fun.

That speed limit sign is a bit funny isn’t it, lol.

Yay! I was correct! I too love BG and am hoping to go there within the next couple of months before it gets too hot. So glad you had good time. I loved the “What is it” posts!
