Here are the steps for the projects in the above pictures:1.The Aqua jar
It was a pickle jar–so cute it looked like an old jug. I painted the inside of the jar with Decoart patio paint. I tied a piece of rope from Canvas Corp, attached some Canvas Corp clothes pins and stars and wrote on the stars in a rust colored pencil.
2. 3 painted jars (they are Snapple Jars)
2 jars were spray painted with Krylon spray paint-(1 in Aqua & 1 in White)
The middle jar was painted with Decoart Gloss Enamels and craft paint to achieve the candy corn look. I painted the inside of the jar white, the outside bottle layer-YELLOW was painted with Decoart craft paint then after a second layer I painted over it with the Gloss Enamel crystals. The Middle was with the ORANGE Gloss Enamels and the Top was with the Crystals Gloss Enamels. The Gloss Enamel paint is dedigned to adhere to the glass. You allow it to dry for 48 hours and then bake it (let it completely cool-down before removing from the oven OR you can let it air dry for a couple of weeks.) (the mice and spiders were from Dollar General)
Canvas Corp chalkboard labels were added with “B” “O” “O”.
3. HAPPY HALLOWEEN banner with Canvas Corp products.
I used the Canvas Corp Papers and cord, then added some ribbon from my stash, I ripped some pieces of canvas from my stash to put under the letter of the words HAPPY HALLOWEEN. Everything was hot glued together. (I had to take down my banner–the hot glue was melting with the heat down here–hole punch next time.)
4. The witches hat made from Styrofoam Crafts, Gorilla Glue and Krylon spray paint (and some toothpicks).
I applied Gorilla Glue between the round disc and the “tree form” to create my hat. I then pushed toothpicks up through the bottom of the hat and through the tree form to add extra strength. I then spray painted it with black Krylon spray paint.
I added some Glitter Blast from Krylon to the hat—Whaa–haa haa haa haa (the wicked goblin laugh)
I had decorated the front lanai but wanted to add some additional pieces.
I grabbed a piece of styrofoam and trimmed it up (it is super easy if you use a bread knife or an electric carving knife).
I sprayed it black with Krylon black paint (LOVE the nossle–so much easier on the fingers).
Then I went to town with my DecoArt Gloss enamel writers.
I put so much paint on it took a couple of days for it to dry.
I added a circle styrofoam piece to represent the moon–poked a couple of toothpicks through the styrofoam and that held it in place (and the paint covered them up–you can not even tell they are there). I did the same thing with the witches hat.
The paints dry darker than they go on and when they dry they are glossy–glass like—
I loved the color of the moon trim once it had dried–so much that I added it to the entire moon.
The Pumpkin–I only had yellow and red–so I made it orange–then added some orange craft paint for lines. Once dry I went over the yellow with some of the yellow and red mixed together.
I went over the tree and moon with Decoart glow in the dark paint.

Then I srpayed over the entire piece with Glitter Blast from Krylon.
I made a styrofoam candy corn–painted with decoart paints and styrofoam crafts styrofoam–and of course I added some Glitter Blast.
So here is the front lanai–GUESTS (trick or treaters) ENTER if you DARE (WHaaaa-haa haaa haaa haaa haaaa!!!!)

Check out my Glow in the Dark pumpkin house numbers.
