Do You Need A Quicky-the evergreen snowman

by CHERI on November 30, 2011

Follow Me on Pinterest …a quicky Christmas Decor project–that is?

When I saw these projects over on Pinterest I had some inspiration and knew what I wanted to whip up.

For this project you will need:

Wire
Wire Cutters
Hot Glue Gun
fake greenery
“scarf”
I added a glittery snowflake
you could use some string to tie on your greenery

Sorry I do not have pictures of the process. I had to work quick hot gluing on the pieces of greenery.

I made three wire circles. Each one got a little bigger. One for the head and 2 for the body. I wired them together.

Where 2 of the circles are wired together is where I started hot gluing on the evergreen. Then I laid attaching the next piece on top of the last piece. Be sure to have a piece of cardboard, newspaper or scrap wood as your work area to catch the dripping hot glue. (Here is where you could add string, if you are having a hard time getting your greenery on. I did not use any string.)

So what do you think of my quick project?
I am thinking about changing the scarf to RED.

I’m posting this to the green party.

Kim–Gabby asked me the other day if we could please go somewhere else for Chrsitmas because she wanted to see snow. She was so little when we moved here. She has NEVER played in snow before. Isn’t that sad. All 4 kiddos would love to play in snow again.
Love ya–give the kids hugs and kisses from us.
Cheri–lots of xoxo

i love love love that! great idea to add the snowflak, and the scarf is perfect. snowmen are my favorite winter thing to decorate with, b/c they last all season, but they work in my 2 religion household.

Love this … Snowmen are my favorite to decorate with as I can leave them up through January. Will try to find the time to make one.
Hope you will stop by Timeless Treasures. I am a new Blogger and will be a new follower for you.
Christmas Blessings.
