Did you know that my birthday is Christmas Day.

Our family LOVES Christmas.  We really enjoy celebrating everything about the holiday.  We have favorite songs and favorite movies.

We love some of the OLD Movies as well as some of the newer ones.

I had an idea for a couple of vinyls that had been dancing around in my head like sugar plums–all year long.

I contacted Ten 23 to see if she could do the design for me. I put together a draft in PhotoShop of my idea so she knew what I was thinking about.  She is fabulous and went to work on my ideas and did a fabulous job.

Today I am going to show you the Christmas Movies Vinyl.

In order to re-create this project you will need
1. The Ten 23 Merry Christmas vinyl

2. a board, sanding bug and a tape measure

3. I applied a layer of the Tuscan Red paint from Rockler milk paint.

4. I sprayed a layer of the Cherry Red spray paint from Krylon

This allowed both colors to show through in different areas.

5. I then applied a coat of the DecoArt Glamour Dust giving just the perfect amount of glitz when the light catches it.

6. I then applied my vinyl. I just eye balled the center but if you don’t trust yourself to get it balanced use a tape measure.
This vinyl was so big that as I got areas applied I would cut away the paper backing. It made it easier for me but wouldn’t be required.

The movies are in different fonts.
