Gift Tags from Santa
I played around with a NEW TO ME product–Paperclay.
I ordered some from an art supply shop–Dick Blick. My local craft stores don’t carry it all of the time so I ordered 2 of the 16 oz packages.
The first project I worked on are these oval gift tags from Santa.
I rolled out a piece of the clay with my rolling pin then cut out oval shapes. I made the holes with a straw. I then put them on a cookie sheet and let them air dry for a couple of days. You can also bake it in the oven to speed up the drying process.
They curled up a little. I will keep trying some other projects with this product. It was fun to use.
Once they were dry I painted them with some of my Decoart Metallics shimmering silver paint.
Once they were dry I wrote on each one.
I have a cute yarn snowman posted over {HERE}
I’m adding this project into the SILVER PARTY over at Freckled Laundry
