This new fruit the Pineberry sounds like my kind of fruit. It looks like a strawberry, but it is white. The seeds are red and it tastes like a pineapple. The taste of pineapple without all of the fuss of having to cut off the pineapple rind–it sounds like my kind of fruit.
they are only in season for about 5 weeks and their season begins around April.
We need to get this fruit in the grocery stores.
Have you tried this fruit?

I’ve never even heard of pineberries, but it sounds delish. Maybe our Sprouts or Trader Joe’s will have them. Your description made my mouth water!

Wow! I want some! I think I’ll have to ask my Trader Joe’s about them and maybe they’ll look for it! Where do they grow?
Cheri,
I pinned your pineberry article and it’s been repinned by several people. Taking off! Thought I would let you know!
Thanks Cheri! I love all the pins!!
These look so good. But where would they be found? I bet they can be ordered online. So I am off to google pineberries.
