If you have been around my blog very long you know how much I LOVE anything numbered or lettered.
Here are some great tutorials on making your own letters and numbers.
Check out Green Zebra Crafts tutorial for making your own paper mache’ letters.
Head over to Green Zebra Crafts for the complete tutorial.
Jami from Freckled Laundry and The DIY Club did a tutorial on making letters from Styrofoam.
Check out Jami’s tutorial {HERE}
There is another way to create letter art. I played around with Leo Reynolds letters and numbers. If you go to Flickr and type in “Leo Reynolds letters” You can go through hundreds of options to create the art that you want. He allows use of his art with very few restrictions. Thank you Leo for this wonderful option to create amazing pieces of art.
You can create some awesome gifts for Christmas, Birthday, Wedding, House Warming Gifts…
I downloaded the letters I wanted, then you can size them to fit in an 8 x 10 frame –in photoshop or order your art on a canvas or oversized poster from one of the big box photo labs.
You can pick letters that are a collage of colors and tectures
OR
go with a color theme to match someone’s decor

These are great! The first paper mache ones I actually do with my students. 🙂
Great post, Cheri! I love the paper mache letters from Green Zebra, and your last name art with wedding date. So cool, and would make a great Valentine’s Day gift. Thanks!
