German Chocolate Cheesecake

Make a homemade cheesecake:

You can do a chocolate graham cracker crust or a plain graham cracker crust–I just follow the instructions on the box.

I mix together 3 bricks of softened cream cheese

1 cup of sugar

1 tsp of vanilla

3 Tbsp of Activia Vanilla Yogurt

I mix it in my Kitchenaid.  Then spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust and bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes until it is a golden brown.  Let it cool down and then chill.

When it is time to serve place a dollop of caramel sauce, sprinkle with coconut flakes (sometimes I toast the coconut) top with some chopped pecans and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
