I got this recipe from my aunt Judy–it is so yummy and even better yet–so super easy.
Pineapple Blueberry Dessert
18 oz of FRESH blueberries (rinsed and dried)
(hint I usually use 2 containers which is more than it calls for but I like to cover the entire bottom of the 9x 13 pan)
20 oz. can of crushed pineapple (do not drain)
1 box of yellow cake mix
1 1/2 sticks of butter, melted
Rinse your fresh blueberries and lay them out on a paper towel to dry. Place the blueberries in a 9 x 13 pan. Top with crushed pineapple–spread it evenly over the top. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top of the pineapple. Pat the cake mix down lightly. Slowly drizzle the melted butter on top of the cake mix.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min. It will be a golden brown on top when it is done.
It can be served warm or chilled.
I like it with some of my Amaretto whipped Cream
Amaretto Whipped Cream
1 Cup of heavy whipping cream
1/4 Cup of sugar
1 tsp almond flavoring
In a Kitchenaid or with a hand mixer beat only the whipping cream until it is stiff and begins to form peaks. Add in the sugar and almond flavoring and mix until the beat form again. Dollop on top of your pineapple blueberry dessert.

I’ve just copied that. Looks good and easy. It is too soon to make it for breakfast? LOL!
This looks yummy. I make a pie with peach and blueberries, but never thought of putting pineapple and blueberries together. Sounds so good.
Yum! Pineapples and blueberries sound like a great combination! Thanks for sharing.
This looks really yummy!

Hi Cheri! This looks like a pineapple berry dream, great job!
This is an awesome recipe, my mom passed it to me a long time ago as an easy, quickie dessert. It’s also kid friendly, they can make it on their own giving them their independence. (I helped with the melted butter)
I used canned pie filling fruit, but fresh or frozen fruit would be great too, I also added finely chopped walnuts.
I served it right out of the oven over vanilla ice-cream, if you like that type of thing lol.
Cheri, thanks for sharing this great recipe with everyone.
I have made “crunch desserts for years too. I really like the taste of the fruit (with less sugar on this one).
