Many times something simple makes such a great statement.

There isn’t a need to over do it. Decorate with what you love.

(and) a GIVE-A-WAY

This is an affordable project that should fit just about anyone’s budget.

To recreate this project you will need:

A frame. I grabbed one from Walmart. It was black and had gold accents. I liked the overall look of the frame but I did not like the GOLD tones. It was one of their inexpensive frames.

I taped it off with some painters tape.

I then used my Valspar paint in Aluminum (metallic paint)

• I loved the lid of the Valspar paint–you just twist it around and spray.  No more fighting with a lid or having someone swipe the nozzles–only to start your project without a nozzle.

• It gave a beautiful finish and went on wonderfully.

• The color is gorgeous.

I only sprayed the gold areas with the spray paint, then let it dry.
(waiting for dry time can be hard so I typically go work on another project.)

Once dry I removed my tape and gave a light sanding to the frame to give enough of a scuff to have my paint stick.

I went over the black part of the frame with my DecoArt metallic paints in Dark Patina and Shimmering Silver.

I cleaned up the glass with my Fish Foam glass cleaner.

Then added the Ampersand Vinyl to the glass. (I trashed the backing of the frame.)

Other than my wait time for my paints to dry-this was a super quick and easy project.
