Clay Tag Post Cards
Using some of my white post cards from Canvas Corp I made these cute cards.
I had ordered this gray polka dot tape.
One little strip down the center was the perfect touch.
I made the little clay tags with Paper Clay
I used a small bottle top to cut my circles. A cookie cutter, or any other circle item will work.
I keep planning on making a trip up to get some metal stamps but haven’t done that yet so I used a toothpick to make my numbers.
I flipped the discs over several times as they were drying.
Once they were dry I painted them with some of my enamel white cabinet paint.
I used a small wire to fill in the numbers.
To give them a worn look I rubbed a little black paint on the white areas.
I added areas of black paint to the edges.
I love how light weight the paper clay is.
I was trying out different looks.
The clay tag is not attached YET. I am trying to figure out which look I like better.
What do you think?
I think I need to make more clay tags.
Check out my post over at The DIY Club to see what other look I tried with my cards and faux enamel tags.

It looks really professional – just like something you’d buy from the card shop. You’re wonderfully talented.
