Pantry Sign
Who wouldn’t want a beautiful sign over their pantry in their kitchen? I have had this project in the works for months now and just got it done and I love the way it came out.
You will need:
- Wood Oval Sign
- White Milk Paint
- Paint Sponge
- Design Divas Vinyl special order–“Pantry”
- Credit Card/Library Card
- Sand Paper
- A Dischanger or a bracket
vinyl
I ordered my PANTRY sign in black vinyl from Design Divas

After sanding my oval, I painted 2 coats of white milk paint and let it dry.
The following day I applied my vinyl–using a credit card or library card helps to make the vinyl adhere to the backing and then when you rub it down onto the final surface as well.
You can either add a Dischanger to the back to hang it or hang it from a bracket like Missy did. That was my plan but I haven’t gone to get my brackets yet.
I featured an Ombre Baby Gift for my newest little niece.

Very pretty, Cheri! I think my pantry needs one of these signs.

I LOVE this sign, Cheri! And like Jane, I want one…I’ll be adding this to my project list. Thanks for the inspiration and the tutorial.

Jane–I just love it. I have even though about getting another one and gluing them together front to back so you could see the sign from both sides.
Sharon,
Thanks so much. This was such a quick project but it really makes an impact.
I love his and I want to order from Design Diva’s. What font did you use for this sign?

I don’t remember– I have a new computer now and haven’t downloaded fonts again. I went to Dafonts to load a bunch that I liked.
