We had Hurricane Isaac breathing down our necks. What better way to distract everyone from the worries of the storm than to have a Family Fun Game Night.

He didn’t realize all of this shopping meant we would be doing a family fun game night–now he’s excited.

We have all of the game systems and so many different games but we decided to rent a new game and try it before we buy it.

We rented the Family Game Night 3 and 4 for our Wii system.

What I really liked about the games is the big variety and there were games that both the big boys and my 2 younger ones could play and enjoy.

The house was pretty dark–that’s what happens when you pull the hurricane shutters down BUT Safety First.

Everyone enjoyed our dinner of chicken, fries and Heinz ketchup and then everyone was ready to get down to business and C-O-M-P-E-T-E.

Enjoying Wii Family Game Night

Favorite Game:  Sorry Sliders.  It’s the Sorry game with a new twist–you slide your pieces and try to land on the one with the most points.

The Game of Life is so fun and it is like the board game.  If you want something new try the TWIST version to change it up.

Wii Family Game Night.  I think he is determined to win.

Clue is super fun.  If you love Clue, you’re gonna love the Wii Family Game Night- Clue.

Yahtzee Bowling & Scrabble Flash were Awesome.

Yahtzee Bowling is similar to Yahtzee but your bowling pins are 6 sided and are your dice and you roll a bowling ball to see what you “roll”.  He got Yahtzee on his first roll.

Scrabble Flash is challenging your vocabulary and speed.  When playing with 2 people you both use the 5 letters that are rolled to you and you have to spell out as many words as possible with the letter combination.

Sorry Sliders-Hasbro Game Night

The Hasbro Game Night was so fun.  We had never played Hasbro Game Night 4 and before we returned it the kids were asking if we could buy it.  It looks like we will be adding it to our list as well.
