My friend Sherrie had 2 matching nightstands that she wanted to get rid of.  I immediately offered to take them off of her hands.  Who doesn’t like FREE?

I removed the old hardware and sanded to take the finish off so the paint would stick to the wood.

The I used General Finishes SNOW WHITE milk paint.

I used my favorite finish– Deft!

I ordered these pink carnival glass knobs from D Lawless Hardware.

They match the knobs we put on her dresser.  Even though the pieces of furniture aren’t an exact match, it ties it all together.

Now for the second night stand- and it will look completely different.  Stay Tuned.
