Sorry this is getting posted late but I was trying to get things done-perfectly-for the announcement. They aren’t perfect but I knew I had to stop and get this post done so keep that in mind-please.

I know I have been throwing out teasers like “Big Announcement Coming” and “What could this be about? (Yikes-I can’t believe I ended a sentence/blog post with a preposition—BAD home schooling mom–BAD.

Have you ever had a desire to do something but fear grasps you by the neck, preventing the proper amount of oxygen to enter your lungs and brain, causing you to– FIRST OF ALL– fall on the ground, gasping for air, but then you can’t think right for a few days. So, now that my husband has done CPR and I am on my feet again-let me tell you the big news. We have opened a 2nd blog to go along with this one. Please go take a look at ItsSoVeryCheri2 We are calling it It’s So Very Cheri 2 – OUR FAVORITE THINGS because we want to showcase our favorite things. The blog is far from done and I am still trying to work on the code and get all of our “stuff” (is that a good word for art and interior decorating accessories?) loaded in. I need to work on the button, the picture is too big, but I needed to make this announcement and tell you who this weeks winner is, so it isn’t perfect-yet, but I would still like you to take a look-but you have to promise me that you will come back this afternoon to see what I have gotten accomplished. PROMISE???

We will have art, photography and some of Cheri’s hand made treasures for sale. So if you see a Give-A-way and didn’t win but would still like to get the item, we might just have some for sale at Its So Very Cheri 2 – OUR FAVORITE THINGS. Is that cool or what? We also want to debut other items that meet our standard of excellence. It could be a fantastic BBQ sauce (and we know BBQ sauce ‘cuz we are from Kansas City and there are some AMAZING BBQ places there), or a game system, a craft tool that makes projects so much easier and fun to do, it might be an appliance we want to recommend to you, or a book OR it could be YOUR special product-handmade by you. So now for the Winner Winner–We didn’t hit 100 Followers this week so we only have 1 drawing but I will post the new rules for this week (and ladies, I think you will like my ideas)– but let me first announce our winner. All the names went into the bowl and Mr. G3 from the G-force (that’s what our kids call themselves-we have 4 kids and their names all start with the letter G-get it?? The G-force G-4sssss. Ken and I say it’s the G-force that forces us to do everything we do-from cleaning and cooking to career path changes that involve going back to school.) drew the name out this week.
