Did you know July is National Ice Cream month and TODAY is National Ice Cream Day so everybody get those ice cream scoops out.
I thought you would enjoy these tidbits from my 2 youngest:
Background info–G4 is 2 years old and LOVES Pink…
Mommy: G4, What color is G1’s hair?
G4: I don’t know-Blue.
Mommy: What color is G3’s hair?
G4: Ummmm-Green.
Mommy: What color is….we go through everyone-
Mommy: G4, what color is Papa’s hair?
G4: He don’t have much hair-um (looking at her Papa’s hair and holding up fingers counting-) um 1, 2-that’s all.
Mommy: (recovering from laughing) G4-what color is your hair?
G4: PINK!
Mommy: Pink?
G4: Uh huh!!!
——————————————————————————
G3 is (4 years old and has two big brothers that he tries to be like that are 11 and 12)
Both G3 and 4 were in our bed watching TV one night with their Dad-although they were watching cartoons so I guess he was watching with them.
G4 was asking for me,she’s a mommy’s girl, and she was getting very tired and fussy. I came walking in after cleaning up the kitchen and my husband says-“she wants you”
Mommy: You want your Mom?
G4: Uh hu! I want you. I don’t want you! (do you detect a little tease in there?)
Mommy: You don’t want me-I’m gonna have to get you.
G3: Tries to come to her rescue and says: “That’s how you say ‘I love you’ in French”
Mommy: Oh, really. I didn’t know that’s how you said I love you in French”
G4-Yep-it sure is, that’s how they say it.
Mommy: Wow-Daddy did you hear that?
Daddy: Yes, that is really amazing, I’ve never heard that before.
G4: Mummble mummble mummble (no words ever known to mankind) And that’s how they say I love you in PIG LATIN.
Don’tcha just LOVE kids???

Didn't know about today being ice cream day!
Thanks for stopping by to see my Disney day dresses. If you so, you could make some for the g-kids.

Are you hilarious or what!?? Love the convo between the kiddos – sometimes it would be nice to have an psychic around to read their minds, wouldn't it?? So I DID get to your other site and am now a follower – can't wait to see all the different things you'll be showing.
Thanks for visiting my blog and I'm in St. Louis – the total opposite side of the state from where you grew up, darn it! I have been to Kansas City though, does that count?? ha ha Take care ~
So fun to hear that today is Ice Cream Day because Cody and I both had a scoop after lunch. 🙂
Hi, Cheri, sounds like you are staying busy and getting some new things going. Good for you, hope it all works out great!
Hi Cheri,
Yes, kids are really sweet! and yours must be lovely.
I hope that you get to enjoy some icecream today.
Hugs
Carolyn
It's always so much fun to read about the funny things kids say. On another note, you will always have one sure distinction in my mind … you are the first blog I've visited of someone I don't actually know in real life who has me listed on their blog roll. Thank you! I am honored to be included.
