I had a sweet gal e-mail and ask me a question. I couldn’t respond to her–you know why her e-mail was set up as non-reply comment and when I clicked on her name, her profile was not available. I think a lot of people don’t realize how their accounts are set up. If you have followed me and haven’t had a visit from me–I can’t get to you–I’m caught up with every follower that I can get to–check your GOOGLE account to see if you have Links set up so people can get to your blog.
Any way this sweet lady wanted to know what the tool was that I used to heat seal the ribbon on my tassel tutorial
They get extremely hot-like 800-900 degrees- so be sure to watch it closely and make sure children aren’t around it. I guess I should have explained what “heat seal the edges of my ribbon” meant. I just do it so often, I didn’t think about it. I barely run the cut edge of the cut ribbon along the hot edge of the soldering iron and it seals the end so it won’t fray. I do this with all of Miss G4’s hair ribbons that I make.
