I was cleaning the kitchen last night and in a matter of 5 minutes went from feeling fine to feeling like I was getting sick, crawled in bed and told Prince Charming I thought I was coming down with something, woke up this morning aching, headache, runny nose–UGH
I have picked up multiple crates of Clementine oranges. I wanted them-the oranges that is- for the kids stockings. They always get an apple and an orange-it was a special TREAT that our parents got in their stockings, back in the day when fresh fruit was not in the stores during the winter months. They get their yearly Hallmark ornaments that goes with their collection and other little gifts. This year I took 4 cream cheese boxes and threw together a gift of coal for each of them and had a little gift in each one. I think I will work on them some more to make them a little more sturdy so we can use them again. The kids loved them.
Ok so back to the crate of oranges-the kids love them, if you have passed them up because of the cost you are missing out on one special, sweet treat–our favorite orange by far. So I bought several crates. This morning I looked at that crate and decided to make something out of it and I have several other projects I want to do as well.
Pictures coming soon
(Sorry, an attempt to walk in the kitchen resulted in me almost passing out so I have been taking it easy today.)

I bought a bunch of those clementines last week because my daughter goes through almost half a bag if not more in a day.

Do hope you are feeling better. Have a great New Year.
I can't wait to see pictures of what you created. I hope you are feeling better. Looks like we got sick at the same time….Christine
Maybe rest is needed…not creating. 🙂 I love Clementines! So good and so easy to eat. I so hope that you feel better quickly.
Now I'm curious! I want to see your orange crate creations!
So sorry to hear that you're feeling lousy. I hope your Christmas was a merry one and I hope those clementines nurse you back to health in no time. Looking forward to seeing what you did with the crates :).
Happy Holidays,
Beth
I totally reuse my clementine boxes, too, and wrote a whole post on it!
