College Grants

by CHERI on June 5, 2010

My hubby will be in school full time this fall. Life is crazy, the economy is nuts and so we begin a new adventure as a college family, not just a college student. This will affect our entire family. My husband will not only be a college student with a wife and 4 kiddos but he will be working as well.

I hope to increase my ad spots to help out.

I worked on a project for him-he will be entering a competition for $15,000 in college grant money and whoever gets the most votes wins all of the money. I still have to add the logo and I was thinking maybe a quote like:
What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny compared to what lies within us.
OR
The future belongs to those who have the courage to live their dreams.
Here it is –What do you think?

What a wonderful thing to do for your hubby! You are a great wife to help him that way. I’m so glad to find a like minded gal. :o) I earned $800.00 at during the fall with various sewing projects and paid for a Cello and five months of lessons for my dear hubby. He sounds so good now and he’s so so happy! He had wanted to play all his life but paying for five kids’ activities precluded the possibility. I decided he wouldn’t have to wait until everyone was out of college.

Great idea for raising college funds!

I like the first quote the best! Good Luck to you both. I know it seems hard, but I am sure it will be worth it.
