Thank you very much for all of the well wishes. After a pretty horrendous weekend I passed the kidney stone. Last time (the first time I had a kidney stone) I was not in any more pain after I got on meds. This time the codene did not control the pain levels. I was feeling sick and laid down. I tried soaking in a tub of HOT water, nothing helped. The pain level was only at an 8 with codene rather than a 10 without. If it had not been for the fact that my husband had a final exam paper due, I would have had him take me to the emergency room. The next morning I passed the stone and have just been a little weak since then but I have been trying to work on a few projects between rests.

Oh, horrors! I had my first one about a month ago and hit the ER with no idea what was wrong. Horrid, horrid pain. Hope you are feeling better soon!
G’morn ~ Tell them you want TORADOL! Awesome drug, in a matter of a couple minutes NO PAIN & you can function as a ‘normal’ person without side effects. So love it for my kidney stones, crohns disease & heart issues.
