This cake is soooo easy and sooooo yummy. Everyone loved it at the party last night.

Choclate Lava Cake
1 Devils Food Choclate cake mix
(ingredients on the box)
1 tub of choclate frosting.

We used the Celebrating Home large serving bowl. (The serving bowls come as a set.) We mixed all of the ingredients – according to the directions on the box- right into the bowl.

Then we put spoonfuls of frosting (the pre-made kind that you buy in the grocery store) on top of the cake mixture. We then put one of the Celebrating Home plates on top of the bowl (as a lid).

You can also use the MAGICAL Bean Pot. (I was using the bean pot for another recipe so I used the bowl and plate last night.) They call it magical because everything you cook in it comes out magically scrumptious.

Now you put it in the MICROWAVE. I know I know if you cook a cake in the microwave it will come out spongey and gross BUT NOT with the CELEBRATING HOME stoneware. We cooked it in the microwave for 12 minutes and it came out so wonderful and scrump–dilli–ish-ous.

All of the stoneware can be cooked in a microwave, oven, can go in the freezer or dishwasher. The only place you don’t use stoneware is on the stove top.

OMGosh, this sounds so good! I even have the cake mix, but sadly not the frosting! My hips will be very grateful for that! By-the-way, I just started following you on Pinterest. I kind of new there, but WOW, what fun!

Cas,

Do you have the stoneware? It makes it super moist.

Normally a cake in the microwave takes rubbery but not with the stoneware.
