I remember as a kid going to Pizza Hut and my parents would sometimes get this dish called Cavitini. My mom recreated the dish and I am going to share it with you today. You can check out all of my recipes {HERE}
Start with some sauce in the bottom of a 9x 13 pan.
My favorite sauce is Bertolli.
Shop at Home has coupons for Bertolli products.
Cook up 2-3 different shapes of noodles. Sometimes I used the tri colored ones, sometimes the wheat, this time I used what was in the pantry. I used 1/2 of the box for each of the styles I used. I used 2 this time. Once cooked -drain it and place 1/2 of the cooked pasta on top of the sauce. I use 2 jars of sauce.
On top of the pasta create a layer of pepperoni
While your pasta is cooking you will cook up some italian (low fat) sauasage along with a medium sweet onion and one green pepper –both chopped. Cook until the meat is done and the veggies are tender. Place the meat on top of the pepperoni.
You will now put a thick layer of sauce and repeat all of the steps. When you have your second “layer” repeated and you have sauce on the very top you put shredded mozzarella cheese on top and bake for 20 minutes–just enough to warm it all the way through and melt the cheese to a bubbly golden brown.
Serve with a side salad. MMMMMmmmmmmm!!!! You can check out all of my recipes {HERE}

I loved Cavitini from Pizza Hut when I was growing up, it truly was the greatest thing they had there! I too have my own recipe of it but I add mushrooms and leave out the green pepper. I always make my sauce from scratch and keep it jarred for Italian dinners. Thanks for sharing !
Looks and sounds wonderful! Thanks for sharing ~
