I had grabbed some of those unpainted ornaments last year on an AFTER Christmas sale.  I had 2 stockings and I had 4 snowmen.  2 for myself and the hubs and 4 for the kids but Miss G4 loved the pink chalkboard stocking and she claimed it and said she had to hang her Daddy’s ornamanet right by her ornament.  How can you say no to that?

I painted the Center part of the stockings with pink chalkboard paint or black chalkboard paint.  I then painted the remaining parts in another pink for the “pink” one and a khaki for the black one.  I added white accents and white washed over the khaki and light pink.  I used all DecoArt paints on this–including the chalkboard paints.

“MOM” has been replaced with Miss G4’s name.

I then painted the snowmen.

I went over the hat and scarf with DecoArt’s Shimmering Silver Gloss Enamels and I LOVE how it came out.

I then went over them with Krylon’s Glitter Blast–Love the sparkle.
